Mighty Squirrel unveils new 13,000-square-foot brewery, taproom in Boston

Mighty Squirrel Brewery has expanded from Waltham, with a second location opening in Boston’s vibrant Fenway neighborhood.

Located steps away from Fenway Park, Mighty Squirrel’s new brewery and taproom officially opened on Thursday, March 14. The beer hall is meant to be a mecca for craft beer fans, foodies and Fenway enthusiasts.

“We are thrilled to introduce our latest venture to the vibrant Fenway community,” Naveen Pawar, co-founder of Mighty Squirrel Brewing, said in a press release. “With its rich history and dynamic energy, Fenway serves as the perfect backdrop for our vision of crafting exceptional brews and fostering memorable experiences.”

The 13,000-square-foot, two-story space features four bars, a private event space and production room. Guests can sit along the second-floor balcony to watch a game, have a view of Fenway Park or enjoy live music some days. The space also features garage door windows that open up for an outdoor dining feel.

Mighty Squirrel’s menu features a full lineup of beers, hard seltzers and hard smoothies. A full kitchen also provides pizzas, salads, tacos and more.

Mighty Squirrel was founded by Pawar and Henry Manice in 2015. The company sells its beers across Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, New York and New Jersey.

Mighty Squirrel opened its first brick-and-mortar brewery and taproom in Waltham in December 2018.

The Boston taproom, located at 1 David Ortiz Drive, will be open Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to midnight, Saturday from 10 a.m. to midnight and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
