The statewide high school hockey and basketball tournaments are rapidly approaching with teams across Massachusetts eyeing the ultimate trophy.
As the brackets are released Saturday, MassLive will join in that excitement as it partners with the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association and Franklin TV to produce two live bracket analysis shows.
MassLive Managing Producer of Sports Meredith Perri will host alongside Franklin TV’s Jay Horrigan and Pete Royce as the trio break down the hockey postseason at 10:15 a.m. and the basketball postseason at 1:15 p.m.
Live streams of the shows can be found on MassLive’s main homepage or the Masslive High School Sports page Saturday.
Special guests from across the state — including MIAA Executive Director Bob Baldwin, high school sports historian Mike Richard, student-athletes and reporters — will join the trio for two shows highlighting the region’s top talent.
Get ready for the postseason and tune in as MassLive, the MIAA and Franklin TV kick off the Road to the TD Garden and the Road to the Tsongas Center.
