
As overnight snowfall finishes up throughout the state, mild, seasonable weather is set to move in Wednesday.
Some communities got as much as 6 inches of snow overnight, but the National Weather Service forecasts dry, sunny conditions the rest of the day.
Boston will hit a high of 38 degrees in the afternoon, with gentle winds of 6 to 11 mph and lots of sun. Forecasts are similar for Worcester and Springfield, which will see high temperatures of 36 and 37 degrees, respectively.
Temperatures will be slightly lower in the Berkshires, topping out at 32 degrees in Pittsfied, while Cape Cod & the Islands will reach a high of 37 degrees.
Wednesday night will see temperatures drop into the 20s across much of the state, with Boston and shore communities possibly experiencing some light snow showers overnight. The National Weather Service expects little to no accumulation.
Thursday and Friday will bring continued seasonable conditions, with temperatures generally in the mid 30s and no precipitation in the forecast. Friday night could see a chance for snow showers, but again, little to no accumulation is expected.
