Two lottery players in Massachusetts claimed $100,000 prizes in a scratch ticket game that costs $30 to play.
Both winning tickets were from the “Millions” game, which was introduced in 2022.
The game’s top prize is $15 million. There are three top prizes, two of which have been claimed this year.
The winning $100,000 tickets were sold at an Xtra Mart in Worcester and a 7-Eleven in Weymouth.
“Millions” has 252 prizes of $100,000. Players have claimed 185 of those prizes, leaving 67 remaining.
Overall, at least 476 prizes worth $600 or more were won or claimed in Massachusetts on Friday, including seven in Springfield, 23 in Worcester and 27 in Boston.
The Massachusetts State Lottery releases a full list of winning tickets every day. The list only includes winning tickets worth more than $600.
The largest lottery prize won so far this year was worth $1 million a year for life, from a winning “Lifetime Millions” scratch ticket sold in Springfield and claimed in July.
