A winning “300X” ticket worth $100,000 that was sold at a Worcester convenience store was claimed on Friday.
The scratch ticket was purchased for $30 at Boski’s Market on Burncoat Street.
In 300X, players scratch the 30 numbers on the ticket that are labeled “your numbers” and covered by a “$ PRIZE” icon, as well as 10 numbers located above “your numbers” that are labelled “winning numbers” and hidden under a blue “X” icon. If any of “your numbers” listed on the ticket match the respective “winning numbers,” players can claim the ticket to receive prize money in the amount listed below the “your number” that matched a “winning number.”
Additionally, if any of “your numbers” include a “2x,” “5x”, “10x”, “20x” or “300x” symbol, the ticket is worth two, five, 10, 20 or 300 times the amount of prize money listed, respectively. Tickets that reveal a “$100 burst” symbol are automatically worth $100.
Players can also win prize money through five “bonus chance” numbers that are located under “your numbers” on the ticket and hidden under a cash symbol. Players that uncover bonus chance numbers with a “$$” symbol next to them can claim the ticket to receive a cash prize in the amount listed next to the symbol.
The largest prize offered in 300X is $15 million, and players have 1 in 5,376,000 odds of winning this prize. The game began being offered in June 2023 with three such prizes available, and so far, only two of the three prizes have been claimed.
The second-largest prize offered is $1 million, and players have 1 in 2,016,000 odds of winning this prize. The game began with eight such prizes available, and all but one has been claimed.
The third-largest prize offered is $100,000, and players have 1 in 161,280 odds of winning this prize. The game began with 100 such prizes available, and 10 remain to be claimed.
Overall odds of winning any prizes in 300X are 1 in 2.77. The smallest prize offered in the game is $30.
Overall, at least 577 prizes worth $600 or more were won or claimed in Massachusetts on Friday, including 26 in Springfield, 20 in Worcester and 45 in Boston.
The Massachusetts State Lottery releases a full list of winning tickets every day. The list only includes winning tickets worth more than $600.
The two largest lottery prizes won so far in 2025 were each worth $15 million. One of the prizes was from a winning “Diamond Deluxe” scratch ticket sold in Holyoke, and the other was from a “300X” scratch ticket sold on Cape Cod.
