It was an afternoon in early December 2021, and a 63-year-old Florida man with dementia was nowhere to be found. The man had departed his home about an hour north of Fort Myers earlier that day and, concerningly, left his cell phone and medication behind.
But within two days, police had located the man in the Boston area, alive and well.
