A Fall River man was convicted on charges of rape and indecent assault of a child and sentenced to 20 to 30 years in prison following a jury trial last week, Bristol County District Attorney Thomas M. Quinn III announced.
Bryant Rivera, 37, was found guilty of six counts of aggravated statutory rape and seven counts of indecent assault and battery on a child under the age of 14, Quinn’s office said in a statement. His conviction came after a multiple-day jury trial.
Rivera had been accused of raping a family member on multiple occasions between 2012 and 2017 and molesting another relative in 2020 and 2021, according to Quinn’s office.
