A man from Rehoboth was killed in a head-on crash with another car in Seekonk on Monday afternoon, the Bristol County District Attorney’s office said.
John Denardo, 85, was identified by the office as the victim of the fatal crash. The crash happened on County Street around 4:10 p.m. on Feb. 29, the office said.
Denardo had been driving a Cadillac eastbound and was near 985 County St. when his car unexpectedly crossed over into the westbound lane, the office said.
The Cadillac collided with a family in a Toyota Camry heading in the opposite direction, the office said. The driver, a 43-year-old man, and his wife and daughter were all brought to a local hospital with minor injuries, the office said.
No criminal charges have been filed, and the office said Denardo may have had a medical episode just before he crashed. The investigation into the fatal crash is ongoing.
