A 26-year-old Bridgewater man was killed in a shooting in New Bedford early Saturday morning, according to the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office.
New Bedford police found Nicholas Miller with a gunshot wound near 36 Acushnet Ave. after responding to 911 calls about men fighting around 12:45 a.m., the district attorney’s office said in a press release. Miller was rushed to St. Luke’s Hospital but declared dead about two hours later.
Authorities are still investigating the shooting. No further information has been released.
