Mass. man accused of peering into occupied bathroom in Dorchester arrested

A New Bedford man was arrested in connection with looking through a bathroom window, Boston police announced.

John Furr, 26, was arrested on Thursday, police said in a statement. He was wanted on a warrant issued from Dorchester District Court for secret sexual surveillance and trespassing.

Police originally learned of a person who was seen looking into an occupied bathroom window in the area of Devon Street in Dorchester at around 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday, the statement read.

Earlier in the day, police asked for the public’s help and were“actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding these incidents.”

He is expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court.
