A winning $100,000 lottery ticket was sold in a Massachusetts city on Wednesday that’s located right over the border from New Hampshire.
The $100,000 prize was from the daily “Mass Cash” drawing. The winning numbers for the April 16 drawing were 1, 14, 17, 29 and 30.
The winning ticket that matched all five numbers was sold in Haverhill at a 7-Eleven shop.
Overall, at least 485 prizes worth $600 or more were won or claimed in Massachusetts on Wednesday, including eight in Springfield, 17 in Worcester and 38 in Boston.
The Massachusetts State Lottery releases a full list of winning tickets every day. The list only includes winning tickets worth more than $600.
The largest lottery prize won so far in 2025 was worth $15 million. It was from a “Diamond Deluxe” scratch ticket sold in Holyoke.
The $15 million winner claimed their prize through a trust on Jan. 30, and opted to receive their prize in the form of a one-time payment of $9.75 million. The winner said they wanted to help out their family and invest with the prize.
