GREAT BARRINGTON — Monument Mountain coach Randy Koldys fought back tears as he reflected on the legacy of Manny and Dion Brown following a victory over Hoosac Valley on Monday night.
“Great timing,” Koldys said with a smile, as Manny wrapped his arm around his coach in a heartfelt embrace. The moment was raw, with Koldys’ voice quivering as he added, “They’re both great kids. Respectful. I feel like they’re a part of my family.”
