Somerville police are looking for a suspect after a girl reported an unknown man touched her arm and tried to kiss her on the cheek.
The incident happened near North Street and Powder House Boulevard, according to the police department.
Police described the suspect as a thin white male, approximately six feet tall, between 20 and 30 years old, with black curly hair and a black beard. At the time of the incident, the man was wearing a gray vest over a white t-shirt and shorts, police said.
Police urged parents and community members to “remind young children to stay alert, avoid interactions with unfamiliar adults, and immediately report any suspicious encounters to a trusted adult.”
