A man was stabbed to death at a McDonald’s restaurant in Lawrence Tuesday evening, according to the Essex County District Attorney’s Office.
Lawrence police responded to the McDonald’s location at 50 Broadway for a report of an altercation around 5 p.m., the district attorney’s office said in a press release. At the scene, they found a man with a stab wound.
Officers treated the man at the scene before taking him to Lawrence General Hospital, the district attorney’s office said. He died at the hospital.
The victim’s name has not been released as officials are still in the process of notifying his family. Authorities are still investigating the stabbing, and no further information about the stabbing has been released.
