A man was shot and killed inside an apartment in Boston early Thursday morning.
The incident happened at 107 Bloomfield St. in Dorchester around 1:40 a.m., according to the Boston Police Department.
The address is listed as a three-story apartment, in a residential area of the neighborhood.
A man was found “shot numerous times” on the first floor of the residence building, police said. He was declared dead at the scene.
His identity and the believed circumstances of the fatal incident have not yet been released.
The incident is under “extremely active” investigation by the Boston Police Department.
