A man was shot and killed near a busy road in Jamaica Plain on Sunday evening, according to the Boston Police Department.
Boston police officers learned of a person shot in the area of Arborway and Washington Street at 10:17 p.m. on Sunday, Sgt. Detective John Boyle, the Boston Police Department’s chief spokesman, told MassLive. When police officers arrived they found a man with a gunshot wound.
The man was taken to Boston Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, according to Boyle.
No arrests have been made in connection with the fatal shooting, he said. It remains under investigation.
