UPDATE: Man shot and killed by police in Nashua had gun at hardware store, NH AG says
A man was shot and killed by police in Nashua, New Hampshire on Sunday night, according to New Hampshire Attorney General John M. Formella’s office.
No police officers were hurt and there is no threat to the public, Formella’s office said in a statement late Sunday evening.
The incident remains under investigation. Formella’s office did not detail what prompted officers to kill the man.
The shooting took place outside a Lowe’s Home Improvement store in Nashua, where yellow tape and a white tent could be seen in the parking lot, according to WMUR-TV.
