A 38-year-old man was arrested Monday morning on a warrant charging him with several crimes in connection with a stabbing in Dorchester earlier this month, police said.
Jason Smith, of Dorchester, is charged with armed and masked robbery, armed assault to rob, assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon, to wit: knife, and threats to commit a crime, to wit: to kill. He is expected to be arraigned in Boston Municipal Court in Roxbury, Boston Police said in a statement.
Smith was arrested around 10:10 a.m. Monday at 107 Devon St. in Dorchester, police said.
The charges against Smith stem from a non-fatal stabbing in Dorchester on Dec. 4. Police say they were called to 18 Fernboro St. that day, where they found a man with several stab wounds. The man was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
