BOURNE — No. 2 St. John’s Prep stared into the abyss during the final moments of the fourth quarter.
The program led No. 1 BC High in the Division I state championship by two with two minutes to go, a fifth-straight Division I state championship in its sights. Then, in the final 60 seconds of regulation, BC High’s Nick Emsing and Murphy Belvin each scored goals, tying the game, forcing an overtime period.
