The holidays just got a whole lot more brick-tacular — LEGO has officially dropped the brand-new Holiday Express Train set ($130), and it’s the kind of festive fun that makes even the grinchiest grown-up feel like a kid again.
Available now at LEGO, the Holiday Express Train is part of the LEGO Icons collection and comes with 956 pieces of pure seasonal joy.

The holiday-themed train features a locomotive with a bobbing smokestack, a coal tender, a flatcar carrying a bell-ringing polar bear, and an end car with a furnished interior. The set also includes four minifigures, a passenger platform complete with a bench and a lamppost, and a 16-piece circular track designed to encircle a holiday tree.
Measuring 19.5 inches long, 5 inches high, and 2.5 inches wide when assembled, the train can be enhanced with the separately sold LEGO Powered Up kit to motorize the locomotive.
The set aims to provide a collaborative building experience, offering two sets of printed instructions and integration with the LEGO Builder app’s “Build Together” feature. The app allows builders to zoom in and rotate 3D models, track progress, and explore other LEGO sets.
