WORCESTER — Kristian Campbell donned a first baseman’s mitt and got in a lot of work at what could possibly be his new position in his first day back in Triple-A Worcester.
The plan for Campbell in Worcester is to play him at first base a “few games a week,” according to WooSox manager Chad Tracy, though the 22-year-old will still see time at second base and center field while he works his way back to the major-league squad.
