Kits running low as deadline approaches for New England Mosaic submissions

For those who want to contribute to the Agawam Community Artists and Artisans’ New England Mosaic, the May 15 deadline is approaching and supplies are dwindling.

Normally, said ACAA President Ceil Rossi, members of the nonprofit go to libraries in Springfield, Agawam, West Springfield, Southwick and Westfield with a box of 10 to 15 blank canvases, known as “tiles,” 6 by 6 inches each. They deliver 240 in total, enough to produce a 24-foot-long wall of canvases. Those who want to contribute can visit the libraries to pick up a canvas and return it to the library when finished.
