Much of the talk with the Patriots has been about trying to land difference-making receivers, a competent left tackle, not to mention their future starting quarterback.
While those needs haven’t adequately been addressed, the Patriots have been able to shore up their defense by adding some depth pieces at linebacker (Sione Takitaki) and the defensive line (Armon Watts), along with re-signing in-house linebackers Josh Uche and Anfernee Jennings.
