The names of the jury empaneled for the Karen Read trial will be impounded for at least the next 10 days following a judge’s order on Monday.
An impounded list means the identities of jury members will not be publicly released by the court. Presiding Judge Beverly Cannone acknowledged that the names of jurors who reach a verdict in a criminal case must be kept in the court file and made available to the public, but in this instance, the jury did not render a verdict.
