Disney plans to bring “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” back to air on ABC on Tuesday, September 23, after the network pulled the show days after Kimmel made divisive comments about the suspect accused of killing conservative activist Charlie Kirk and received intense backlash.
The new episode will air at 11:30 p.m. ET on ABC. Those without cable can watch the show for free through FuboTV or DIRECTV each offering a free trial to new users. Sling is another option for streaming the show, and promotional offers are available.
The network announced Monday that the show would return on Tuesday. Kimmel faced backlash for his remarks, leading major affiliates, such as Nexstar and Sinclair, to pull his show, according to The Associated Press.
Kimmel expressed concern about potential government crackdowns on comedians. His suspension comes amid a shifting late-night landscape and ongoing debates about media control and free speech, the AP continued.
