SPRINGFIELD— Jareth Staine had quite the night at quarterback for the Golden Eagles on Friday.
With Springfield Central’s (7-1) offensive line controlling the line of scrimmage throughout all 48 minutes, Staine had ample time to throw not one, not two, but five touchdowns — three of which for 45 or more yards thanks to the Golden Eagle’s receivers breakaway speed.
