EAST LONGMEADOW — In the Golden Eagles’ first game of the season, Springfield Central fell to St. John’s Prep 36-35.

Since then, the Golden Eagles have only allowed their last four opponents to score in the double-digits just once – and that stretch includes a 56-0 shutout of Longmeadow the week before.
