A Game 2 win Saturday night in the World Series came at a high price for the Los Angeles Dodgers. Shohei Ohtani suffered a left shoulder injury during the game.
En route to a 4-2 victory over the New York Yankees which gave the Dodgers a 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven series, Ohtani was on first base with two outs in the bottom of the seventh when he attempted to steal second base. The throw from catcher Austin Wells arrived ahead of Ohtani as second baseman Gleyber Torres applied the tag for the final out of the inning.
