The AFC playoff picture is starting to really come into focus and it will either gain some additional clarity or get a little murkier on Sunday, Nov. 23 as one of the hottest teams in the NFL, the New England Patriots, visit a Cincinnati Bengals team that is holding on for dear life at Paycor Stadium in Cincinnati.

This NFL game is scheduled to start at 1 p.m. EST and will be broadcast on CBS. Fans looking to watch can do so for free by using DIRECTV, which offers a free trial, or FuboTV, which also offers a free trial as well as up to $30 off your first month. Paramount+ also offers a free trial and gives fans the option to watch games broadcast on CBS. NFL+ airs all local market games, and NFL+ Premium allows fans to watch NFL RedZone, condensed game replays and all-22 coaches film.

The 9-2 Patriots have won eight consecutive games and have had a few extra days off between this matchup and their last game, a 27-14 Thursday Night Football win over the New York Jets. Drake Maye threw for 281 yards and a score with Stefon Diggs once again standing out as the top target with nine catches for 105 yards. TreVeyon Henderson had 62 rushing yards and two touchdowns and 31 receiving yards with another touchdown, doubling the rookie’s season touchdown total and giving him his first career game with three scores just days after his first two touchdown game in the 28-23 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Anfernee Jennings recovered a fumble late to set up New England’s final score of the game.

The Bengals sit at 3-7 having lost three straight and seven of their last eight after the first 2-0 start the team has had since drafting Joe Burrow in 2020. However, Burrow has been gone for all of these defeats, and despite his best efforts to return from the toe injury that has kept him sidelined, he will remain on the bench for at least one more week while Joe Flacco gets another shot behind center after last week’s 34-12 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Arguably the most memorable and most consequential moment of last week’s loss was star receiver Ja’Marr Chase spitting onSteelers defensive back Jalen Ramsey and getting a one-game suspension for his actions. Without Chase, that puts a lot of attention on Tee Higgins to pick up the workload on the outside while also looking for running back Chase Brown, who had 99 rushing yards klast week, to take some pressure off the air attack.
