The field for Williamsport, Pa. is starting to shape up and a couple more tickets to the Little League World Series will be booked on Wednesday, Aug. 6 as the Regional Tournaments continue.
The games are scheduled to start at 11 a.m. EDT and will be broadcast on ESPN and ESPNU. Fans looking to watch can do so for free by using DIRECTV, which offers a free trial. The Southeast Region opens the day along with the Midwest Region, but the teams from Lake Mary, Fla. and Irmo, S.C. will be playing for the championship in their region as the schedule got pushed back a day due to a pair of rain outs on Monday.
The Great Lakes Region will also crown a champion on Wednesday when the squad from Hamilton, Ohio faces the team from Clarendon Hills, Ill.
Additionally, the New England Region, Northwest Region, Metro Region and West Region all have semifinal games that will determine the final team playing for the regional championship on Thursday or Friday.
