The fourth installment of the HBO docuseries “Celtics City” debuts on Monday, March 24.
Those looking to watch the series can do so through MAX, as well as DirecTV Stream, which offers a free trial, or with SlingTV, which doesn’t offer a free trial but has promotional offers available. New episodes debut on Mondays at 9 p.m. EDT on HBO and are available for on-demand streaming on MAX once they air.
This episode, “Great Hope, Period” is set to explore the rivalry between the Celtics and the Lakers in the 1980’s and in particular, the roles Larry Bird and Magic Johnson played in growing the NBA.
This comes after last week’s episode “All Swept Up” explored the 70’s Celtics and the transitional period from Bill Russell leaving the team until Bird was drafted.
Fans looking to watch the series can explore all the different ways to get subscriptions for MAX and HBO, including DirecTV Stream and SlingTV. MAX has plans starting at just $9.99/month, and includes movies, original series and more and also has a bundle with Hulu and Disney+.
