These two teams have the fewest overtime losses in the NHL, with the Bruins still at zero and the Jets having one, while also being the most recent team to get its first overtime loss (Dec. 3 in a shootout loss to the Montreal Canadiens, 3-2).

Boston’s last overtime contest was a 3-2 shootout win over the Detroit Red Wings on Nov. 29. The three-game winning streak that followed the subsequent 5-4 loss to the Red Wings has all been 3-goal victories, including two 5-2 wins over the St. Louis Blues. The most recent of those contests was on Tuesday in St. Louis and it saw both Fraser Minten and Mark Kastelic score their 5th and 6th goals of the season while Pavel Zacha secured his 8th with an empty-netter to seal the win. Thanks to a trio of assists, David Pastrnak moved into a tie for the team lead in points with Morgan Geekie, who is second in the NHL in goals with 22.
