Barbora Krejcikova will face Jasmine Paolini in the Wimbledon 2024 women’s final on Saturday, July 12.
The women’s singles final is scheduled to start at 9 a.m. ET and will be broadcast on ESPN. Fans looking to watch can do so through FuboTV or DirecTV Stream, both of which offer a free trial. Krejcikova had a bad back and just a handful of wins this season before Wimbledon. In three prior appearances, Paolini had never even won a match at the All-England Club. They both won their semifinal matches Friday in three sets. Krejcikova ousted 2022 Wimbledon champion Elena Rybakina. Paolini outlasted Donna Vekic in the longest Wimbledon women’s semifinal on record. Neither finalist has participated in a Wimbledon singles title match before. This meeting on Saturday will ensure there will be yet another new champion. Seven women have won the singles title in the past seven editions.
