A pair of championship opportunity will be awarded on Saturday, Dec. 6 and a pair of championships will also be contested at NXT Deadline, which is taking place at the Boeing Center in San Antonio.
The show is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. EST and will be streamed on Peacock. Fans looking to watch can do so by using Peacock, which offers exclusive access to a huge library of WWE content including replays and archives of old premium live events and weekly shows along with a pre-show for Saturday’s PLE, and has plans starting at $7.99 a month.
The show will open with a rematch between NXT Champion Ricky Saints, and the man he dethroned for the title, Oba Femi. If the title itself wasn’t enough of a prize, the winner will also get to face Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes at next week’s Saturday Night’s Main Event, which will also feature John Cena’s final match.
The other title bout is for the NXT North American Championship, which Ethan Page, one half of the AAA Mixed Tag Team Champions along with Women’s United States Champion Chelsea Green, is defending the belt against AAA’s Mr. Iguana, who Page and Green defeated for the Mixed Tag Titles.
And speaking of seeking revenge, former NXT Women’s Champion Tatum Paxley is looking to get some payback on former Culling stablemate Izzi Dame, who conspired with the rest of the faction to cost Paxley the championship.
However, the biggest matches of the night are the two Iron Survivor Challenges. In the men’s match, Joe Hendry, Myles Borne Je’Von Evans, Dion Lennox and TNA X-Division Champion Leon Slater will face off. In the women’s match, Lola Vice battles Kelani Jordan, Sol Ruca, Jordynne Grace and Evole Women’s Champion Kendal Grey.
