There is a packed WWE weekend taking place when the calendar turns to August as Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday will all feature shows in the greater New York area, all centered around SummerSlam, taking place at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford on Saturday, Aug. 2 and Sunday, Aug. 3.
Fans looking to attend these WWE shows can find plenty of tickets available on StubHub, Ticketmaster, SeatGeek and VividSeats*. Fans can also find tickets for other upcoming WWE events available on those sites including future episodes of Raw, SmackDown and NXT, as well as house shows and premium live events.
*New customers who purchase tickets through VividSeats can get $20 off a $200+ ticket order by using the promo code MassLive20 at checkout.*
If you need to travel outside your local area to get to this event, head over to TripAdvisor, VRBO, Marriott or Booking.com for deals on everything from car rentals to airfare to hotels.
In addition to individual tickets to all four days of action, fans can also buy a two day pass for SummerSlam. And while the shows on Friday, Saturday and Sunday take place in New Jersey technically, Monday’s edition of RAW happens at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y.
The weekend will feature Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena competing in his final SummerSlam, when he faces former champion Cody Rhodes in a rematch of their WrestleMania main event to close out the second night of the show, except this time around, it’s a Street Fight.
CM Punk will challenger Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship. After cashing in her Money in the Bank contract at Evolution, Naomi defends the Women’s World Championship for the first time in a Triple Threat against the last two women to hold the title, Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley. And Tiffany Stratton defends the WWE Women’s Championship against Jade Cargill.
