WESTFIELD – Twisters aren’t very common in the northeast, but on Thursday the St. Mary’s boys soccer team got caught up in a game that produced head-spinning results to dizzying effect.
Sci-Tech sophomore forward-midfielder Hosseyn Mirazal recorded a hat trick, sophomore forward Omid Amiri scored two goals, and two others (Mario Mata, Edwin Perez) each tallied one as the Cybercats spun an 8-0 shutout of St. Mary’s at Westfield Intermediate School.
