Authorities are conducting an “extremely active” homicide investigation after a 32-year-old man was found shot to death in a Taunton shed Saturday morning, according to the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office.
Police located the body of Taunton resident Jhonny Lajoie around after responding to 155 Highland St. for a report that a dead man had been found in a “furnished shed,” the district attorney’s office said. Investigators determined that Lajoie had been shot to death sometime Saturday morning.
No arrests had been announced in the case as of Sunday morning, and no further information has been released.
