Here’s the top 5 best patios in Boston to visit this year, The Boston Calendar says

With summer around the corner, patios in Boston will soon be filled ready for people to enjoy time outside.

But with hundreds of patios in the city, one website is naming the very best in Boston.

Here are the five best patios to visit and enjoy a drink and the ambiance this summer, according to The Boston Calendar.

The No. 1 spot named by the website is The Tall Ship in East Boston.

The 245-foot boat has been renovated into a floating oyster bar and warm weather hot spot, the website said. Here, guests can enjoy drinks, charcuterie boards and views of the Boston skyline from this “unconventional patio.”

The Boston Calendar goes on to give the No. 2 spot to ReelHouse Oyster Bar in Seaport.

This patio offers a spot right on the water with views of the marina. Guests can enjoy menu items like oysters, caviar, Neapolitan pizza and more.

Coming in at the No. 3 spot is Pier 6 in Charlestown.

At Pier 6, customers can overlook the USS Constitution, the oldest commissioned naval ship in the world. As an added bonus, the restaurant also offers a free shuttle to Reelhouse, its sister restaurant across the harbor.

The Boston Calendar’s No. 4 spot is awarded to Porto in Back Bay.

“Located in the heart of Back Bay, you can dine under the stars, and the carefully placed twinkle lights, on this sheltered and stylish space,” the website wrote about Porto.

Finally in the No. 5 spot is Il Patio di Eataly at Eataly Boston in Back Bay.

This spot is an “aperol spritz-filled Italian garden in the shadows of Boston’s bustling Back Bay.” The restaurant is known for serving up classic Italian dishes.
