Here’s how many Worcester police, fire employees made more than $200K last year

Of the 69 individuals employed by the City of Worcester in 2023 who earned a gross pay of more than $200,000, 61 are members of the city’s police department, according to data made available to MassLive.

Former Worcester Chief of Police Steven M. Sargent earned a gross pay of $276,639, making him the highest-earner of the police department, and the third-highest-earner of any department head in 2023.
