WESTHAMPTON — Despite giving the visitors a first-inning two-run lead, Ryanne Dubay did not panic in the circle. She settled down and refocused, confident in her ability to rise to the occasion and overcome any challenge.
“It does happen a lot; you have to work under pressure (and) working under pressure makes you a better player and pitcher,” Dubay said after Wednesday’s game. “Working under pressure made me realize that I can’t take it easy (for a single pitch in) this game.”
