Nothing says autumn in New England like apple picking, corn mazes and hay rides — and for Bay Staters, there are a number of spots to ring in the fall season a little ways off the beaten path.
For those seeking acres of corn to get lost in (and of course, found again), you may have to travel a little farther out than you would for a wagon ride and some cider doughnuts.
The trek is just a small part of the journey — especially when you could be spending anywhere from 30 minutes, to three hours exploring fields of corn stalks nearly six feet tall.
For Bay Staters hoping to get away for a day and explore one of Massachusetts’ sprawling corn mazes, MassLive has put together a list of some venues across each part of the state.
These fields have garnered attention online for a number of reasons — whether it be for its convenient location, elaborate designs, size or amenities.
