Funeral arrangements have been made for a Boston woman found dead in the woods near a home in Milton, her obituary read.
A passerby found the body of Adriana Suazo, 21, near 143 Central Ave. around 11:45 a.m. on June 1, Norfolk County District Attorney Michael Morrissey’s office said in a statement.
There was no obvious trauma to the body of Suazo, a spokesman for the office told MassLive on Friday. He added that the investigation continues.
Suazo’s funeral services will be at the Brady & Fallon Funeral Home, 10 Tower St. in Jamaica Plain on Wednesday, June 18, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. She will then be interred at Fairview Cemetery after. Relatives and friends are invited.
In a GoFundMe set up to cover funeral costs, Suazo’s sister Mel described her as a “firecracker, full of life, laughter, and fierce love.”
“Losing her so suddenly has shattered our world. My family is completely heartbroken,” she wrote. “Trying to navigate this pain while also doing everything we can to give Adriana the proper burial she deserves—a sendoff that honors the vibrant, loving, and unforgettable person she was.”
The campaign set a goal of $13,000 to cover funeral and burial expenses. As of the morning of June 16, the fundraiser has received $12,130 from 237 donations.
