Frontier Airlines rolls out new nonstop flight to Tampa from Connecticut

A new non-stop flight to Tampa has been added to the roster of chances to get out of New England with no layovers, the Connecticut Airport Authority announced.

Frontier Airlines introduced a non-stop service from Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks, Conn., with its first flight taking off on Thursday morning for Tampa International Airport, the CAA said.

Passengers on that first flight were given “destination-themed goodies” by the airport to celebrate the new route, CAA said.

“Thanks to Frontier Airlines for introducing more low-cost flights at Bradley International Airport,” said Kevin A. Dillon, A.A.E., Executive Director of the CAA.

“We greatly appreciate the airline’s addition of nonstop service to Tampa and look forward to our continued partnership in bringing exciting new routes and great travel deals to our region,” the executive director said.

The flight from Connecticut to Florida will run four times a week, the CAA said. Travelers looking for tickets and more information can be visit FlyFrontier.com.
