A movie filming in Massachusetts needs a wide range of actors.
It is a short student film called “Tale of a…Sundown Town” and is part of Emerson College. Roles pay up to $600.
“A narrator tells the story of a spring break road trip, 5 HBCU College students take a detour to visit one of their grandparents,” Backstage reads. “After an encounter at a gas station, they learn it’s a Sundown Town and must survive the night at the grandparent’s house.”
Actors ages 19-69 are needed for this short film. Beyond the lead actors, actors are needed for roles such as “racist employee” and “gas station employee.”
Filming will happen on May 1-3 and May 5-7 in Boston.
