Someone in Massachusetts claimed a $15 million lottery prize on Thursday — the largest prize won in the state so far in 2025.
The $15 million prize was from the “300X” scratch ticket game, which was released in June 2023.
The game costs $30 per ticket to play, and has just one $15 million grand prize remaining to be claimed as of April 18.
The winning $15 million ticket was sold in Falmouth at a shop called Garrett’s Family Racing Mart.
This is the largest lottery prize to be claimed yet in the state this year. Another lottery player also claimed a $15 million prize on Jan. 30 from a “Diamond Deluxe” ticket they bought in Holyoke.
Additionally, someone claimed a $100,000 lottery prize on Thursday from a winning “$15,000,000 Colossal Millions” ticket they bought at the Racing Mart in Springfield.
Overall, at least 520 prizes worth $600 or more were won or claimed in Massachusetts on Thursday, including 21 in Springfield, 39 in Worcester and 46 in Boston.
The Massachusetts State Lottery releases a full list of winning tickets every day. The list only includes winning tickets worth more than $600.
