SPRINGFIELD — “Look good, feel good” is the motto community leaders want kids to embrace as the first day of school rapidly approaches.
At this year’s Back to School Brighter Event, which has been around since 2015, kids shot basketballs, climbed a rock wall, received backpacks, and got their hair cut and braided at the free community-building event Wednesday.
