Cincinnati also claimed Harrison Bader, who was jettisoned by the Yankees.

With 19 home runs, Renfroe, who has 56 RBIs and a slash line of .242/.304/.434, has more home runs this season than any of his new teammates.

The state of Ohio was the center of Thursday’s action as the Cleveland Indians also claimed pitchers Lucas Giolito, Matt Moore and Reynaldo Lopez in their push to make a run in the American League Central.
