Former Patriots WR Jakobi Meyers scores touchdown in Raiders’ blowout win vs. Giants

The Raiders went through a slew of changes over the last week, and they responded positively with a 30-6 win over the New York Giants on Sunday.

Las Vegas fired coach Josh McDaniels, general manager Dave Ziegler and offensive coordinator Mick Lombardi in an overhaul after an ugly Week 9 loss. McDaniels wasn’t the only former Patriot who had a tough week, though. Quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo was benched in favor of promising rookie Aidan O’Connell.

But it wasn’t all bad for former Patriots players. Jakobi Meyers had a productive game in the Week 10 win. The wide receiver had one carry for 17 yards and a touchdown, while adding two receptions and 38 more yards. In his first season with Las Vegas, Meyers has appeared to pick up right where he left off in New England. While the Patriots could certainly use him this year, he’s found a groove with his new team.

Meyers’ six touchdowns matches his career-high he set in 2022 with New England.
