Former Mass. teacher will serve prison time for possessing child sexual abuse materials

A 36-year-old man who worked as a second grade teacher in Milford was sentenced to 42 months in prison Wednesday after pleading guilty to one count of possession of child pornography late last year, acting U.S. Attorney for Massachusetts Joshua S. Levy’s office announced.

An IP address registered to Vincent Kiejzo was linked to a pair of websites known to feature child sexual abuse materials and discussions of the materials in May 2019, prosecutors said. In September 2020, during a search of Kiejzo’s Milford home, investigators found a USB drive plugged into a TV in his bedroom. The drive contained links to “child sexual exploitation” websites, Levy’s office said in a statement.

Investigators also found more than 6,000 images depicting child sexual abuse, including images involving infants, according to Levy’s office.

Kiejzo was a second grade teacher in Milford at the time of his arrest, prosecutors said. In addition to the prison sentence, Kiejzo was ordered to pay $43,500 in restitution to victims.

Upon his release from prison, Kiejzo must register as a sex offender and will be barred from contact with children, according to the statement.
