SPRINGFIELD — A former Longmeadow man who built a $1.5 million home before being evicted in 2022 continues to wage a battle to regain some of his possessions, despite losing his house to foreclosure and his latest fight in court.
Alton King Jr., 83, filed a lawsuit in U.S. District Court on Monday. The complaint seeks a temporary restraining order prohibiting a Holyoke warehouse from selling off the belongings that Hampden County sheriff’s deputies seized from his home at 49 Memery Lane over weeks in 2022 and 2023.
